This competition is promoted by Havant and Waterlooville Swimming Club, which is affiliated to the South East Region ASA, and will be held under Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) laws and ASA Technical Rules of Racing
This is a licensed level 4 competition open to all members of Havant & Waterlooville.
All entrants must have been a member of their the club at 1 September 2016 and have current ASA category 1 or 2 membership.
Ages are as at midnight on 31 December 2016. It is the swimmer's responsibility to ensure his/her eligibility for each event. Swimmers will be distributed in heats from the submitted entry times. Heats will also contain swimmers from Hamble Aquatics, Locksheath and Ryde Swimming Clubs. Improved times will not be accepted after the entries have been received. All events will be swum on a heat declared winner (HDW) basis. Winners’ trophies/ medals will be presented for all events and Aggregate Trophies for each age group.
Points towards the Aggregate Trophies are calculated using FINA points. The highest points score from each category: Sprints, 100’s, Distance, Form and Individual Medley contributes to the individual’s total. The age group categories are 9 & Under, 10, 11, 12, 13/14, 15/16, 17 & Over
Events 203 & 204 - 25m Butterfly are only open to swimmers aged 10 or under and do not count towards overall individual points score. Swimmers entering these events cannot enter 50m Butterfly.
No entries meeting the required criteria will be rejected. There are no limit times. All events will be inclusive of disabled swimmers and they should provide their categorisation on entry.
Cost: First five events entered £4 each, next five entered £3 each, any additional events £2 each.

ANY ENTRIES RECEIVED AFTER THE CLOSING DATE MAY NOT BE ACCEPTED AND WILL BE SUBJECT TO AN ADDITIONAL £10 ADMINISTRATION FEE.
The decision of the referee on all aspects of the gala is final. Matters other than those under the control of the referee, not covered by these conditions, shall be decided upon and resolved by the promoter. By submitting an entry, participants have deemed to agree to such decisions.
Meet entries will be managed on a computer. Your consent to the holding of personal information for the purposes of the Meet shall be treated as being given by the submission of your entries, as shall your consent for such details to be published both during and after the Meet.
