to Havant & Waterlooville Swimming Club
As a competitive swimming club our aim is for all our swimmers to participate
in and enjoy the sport of swimming. Whatever your ability, we will
provide the opportunities throughout the year for you to train and compete,
both as an individual and as part of a successful swimming team.
This friendly formula has worked well since
the club was formed in October 1991 and with it has come success. With
National, District and County champions numbered among our membership, we have
risen rapidly to compete in the top National league in club swimming, Speedo
Division 1. Our swimmers also continue to do well in the six other league
competitions in which we regularly compete. In 1999 we had our first
swimmer selected for a GB international team, competing in the European Junior
Championships in

H&WSC is always keen to welcome new members. We don't have a minimum (or
maximum!) age limit and have training squads to suit all abilities. If you or a
family member has an interest in swimming and can swim a minimum of 25 metres
in each of 3 recognised strokes, why not join us!
